Risk Management

The principal features of Global’s Risk Management and problem resolution are:

  • Risk identification—A initial risk assessment and site survey will be conducted to provide input to our staff assignments, nature of protection required, discuss historical security issues and identify awareness issues such as key management identification, Labor Union issues if they exist, Intellectual and Physical assets that need to be protected etc. Risks identified are subjected to the analysis and reporting procedures described in this process.
  • Assignment of ownership—Assignment of responsibility for risk assessment and mitigation includes primary responsibility.
  • Risk analysis—This analytical process results in a comprehensive risk definition, risk classification and categorization of low, medium, or high (determined by probability of occurrence times the consequences of occurrences).
  • Risk mitigation plan—For each risk identified, a mitigation plan is developed, defining a plan of action, assignment of responsibility and reporting requirements.
  • Ongoing evaluation and formal reporting—Open risk items are formally assessed as to the effectiveness of the approved risk mitigation approach weekly, monthly, or as scheduled by the customer.
  • Closure of risk items—No active risk item, regardless of its origin, will be closed without the approval of the security manager or higher-level executive, as appropriate
